Creations of Motion

These photos show some fun that we had with creating motion. We used our studio to recreate a dark area (could also do outside at night). I set the camera on a tripod on manual mode and used a shutter speed of 1/4.5 with an f-stop of 11 and ISO of 200. I focused on my subjects with the lights on and then shut the lights off. They repeated their motion a few times in the same pattern and then I pressed the shutter button. They continued to do their motions until the shutter button closed. As you can see, they had a lot of fun with this.

This last picture reveals my helpers - my family - Keith, my husband (left), Michael, my son (middle), and Ashley, my daughter (right).
