Architecture

This is a picture of Perkins Memorial in Bear Mountain State Park, NY. George Walbridge Perkins was the first president of the Commissioners of the Palisades Interstate Park from 1900 - 1920. I like how the tower appears taller than it is from the road, but when you climb the mountain and stand under it, it is not as large as it seems. The tower oversees almost the entire Palisades Interstate Park and has great views of the Hudson River and New York City.
