Kaleidoscope - Michaela Young

This assignment was very fun. I used the base pictures of a flower, a stack of colored pencils, and the wings of a fairy costume to create my three kaleidoscopes.


In this picture, I used the portion of a flower. On the second layer I used the blending mode of difference.


This picture is made up of blocks of colored pencils. I had my son help me pick the blending mode, and he liked lighten.


The wing composition in this one was really quite dull before I switched to the color burn blending mode. I really like this one now.
